# DXR Token Overview

**DXR** is the official token of the DEXRise platform. It is the token at the center of the platform's economy: it anchors the platform's [trading liquidity](/dexrise-documentation/dxr-token/tokenomics.md#distribution), powers the platform's [staking program](/dexrise-documentation/dxr-token/staking-event.md), and it is protected by DEXRise's signature [Floor Price Protection](/dexrise-documentation/trading/floor-price-protection.md) mechanism at its strongest setting.

## Key facts

## Floor Price Protection at 50%

DXR trades with [Floor Price Protection](/dexrise-documentation/trading/floor-price-protection.md) at **50%**: the floor price always sits 50% below the last recorded ATH, selling stops at the floor, and every new ATH moves the floor permanently higher. The result is a token whose market structure is designed for a continuous upward trend — with the price free to move anywhere within the range between the floor and the ATH.

{% hint style="info" %}
DXR launches trading **at its floor price directly** — the floor is unbreakable from the very first second of trading, so the first upward cycle begins immediately at launch. Full details in [DXR Trading Launch](/dexrise-documentation/dxr-token/trading-launch.md).
{% endhint %}

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dexrise.gitbook.io/dexrise-documentation/dxr-token/overview.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
