# What is DEXRise?

DEXRise is a decentralized exchange (DEX) platform for trading digital currencies, designed to serve two audiences at once:

* **Traders** get a simple, well-designed interface to trade on liquidity pools from leading decentralized exchanges — including PancakeSwap, Uniswap and SushiSwap — with rich pair-level detail and a set of protective trading features such as [Slippage Protection](/dexrise-documentation/trading/slippage-protection.md) and the exclusive [Floor Price Protection](/dexrise-documentation/trading/floor-price-protection.md) mechanism.
* **Projects** get production-ready, on-chain services to grow their communities and raise capital: [trading pair listings](/dexrise-documentation/listing-fees-and-requirements/trading-listing.md), [staking pools](/dexrise-documentation/staking/overview.md), [presale events](/dexrise-documentation/presale/overview.md) and [airdrop campaigns](/dexrise-documentation/airdrop/overview.md).

On top of its aggregated trading infrastructure, DEXRise operates [its own liquidity pools](/dexrise-documentation/introduction/how-it-works.md#native-and-shared-liquidity), which other platforms can use to share liquidity.

## The four core services

| Service                                               | What it offers                                                                                  |
| ----------------------------------------------------- | ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| [Trading](/dexrise-documentation/trading/overview.md) | Traditional swap pairs — plus pairs protected by the exclusive Floor Price Protection mechanism |
| [Staking](/dexrise-documentation/staking/overview.md) | Flexible and Locked staking for any two currencies, executed entirely on-chain |
| [Presale](/dexrise-documentation/presale/overview.md) | On-chain token sale events that help emerging projects raise funding and initial liquidity |
| [Airdrop](/dexrise-documentation/airdrop/overview.md) | On-chain reward distribution events for project communities                                     |

## Platform at a glance

|                           |                                                                                                                                       |
| ------------------------- | ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Platform type** | Decentralized exchange (DEX) with multi-platform liquidity access |
| **Native token** | [DXR](/dexrise-documentation/dxr-token/overview.md) on Binance Smart Chain (BSC) |
| **Signature feature** | [Floor Price Protection](/dexrise-documentation/trading/floor-price-protection.md) — an unbreakable, automatically rising price floor |
| **Execution model** | Staking, claiming and presale purchases settle directly on-chain, with full transparency |
| **Services for projects** | Trading pair listing, staking pools, presale events and airdrop campaigns |

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dexrise.gitbook.io/dexrise-documentation/introduction/what-is-dexrise.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
