# Pair Ranks

DEXRise classifies trading pairs and currencies into **four rank tiers**: **Bronze**, **Silver**, **Gold** and **Platinum**. Ranks give you an at-a-glance signal of a pair's community support and trading activity, helping you evaluate pairs before trading them.

## The four tiers

| Rank            | Votes                  | Daily trading volume  |
| --------------- | ---------------------- | --------------------- |
| 🥉 **Bronze**   | More than 100 votes    | —                     |
| 🥈 **Silver**   | More than 1,000 votes  | —                     |
| 🥇 **Gold**     | More than 10,000 votes | More than $1,000,000  |
| 💎 **Platinum** | More than 10,000 votes | More than $10,000,000 |

## How to read the tiers

Ranks combine two signals:

* **Votes** — community support behind a pair. A pair climbs from Bronze to Silver to Gold as its vote count grows past each threshold.
* **Daily trading volume** — real trading activity. Volume requirements kick in at the top tiers: Gold requires a daily volume above **$1 million**, and Platinum requires above **$10 million**.

{% hint style="info" %}
Gold and Platinum share the same votes requirement (more than 10,000 votes) — **daily trading volume is what separates them**. A Gold pair with more than $10 million in daily volume qualifies for Platinum.
{% endhint %}

## What each tier communicates

| Tier | What it tells you |
| ------------ | ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- |
| **Bronze** | The pair has crossed its first community milestone — an emerging pair with early support |
| **Silver** | A substantially larger support base, in the thousands of votes |
| **Gold** | Strong community support combined with serious trading activity |
| **Platinum** | The platform's top tier — high community support and high daily volume at scale |

## Where ranks appear

Ranks are assigned to trading pairs and currencies across the platform, so you can weigh community strength and activity as part of your trading decisions — alongside the pair details shown in the [Trade Panel](/dexrise-documentation/trading/trade-panel.md).

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the following URL with the `ask` and `goal` query parameters:

```
GET https://dexrise.gitbook.io/dexrise-documentation/trading/ranks.md?ask=<question>&goal=<user_goal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is what the user is ultimately trying to achieve, the reason they need the answer. Sharing it helps GitBook give you a better, more relevant answer. A goal is most helpful when it describes the outcome the user wants rather than restating the question. For example, with `ask=how do I create an API token`, a goal like `automate deployments from our CI pipeline` lets GitBook tailor the answer to that use case.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
